The founders established this program in order to maintain their own ties to the chapter, while at the same time providing for the future. The Brotherhood Loyalty Pledge begins with a donation of no less than $250 during the first five years following graduation, or $50 per year. Beyond the first five years the pledge asks for a contribution of a minimum of $100 per year. Any and all monies collected in this manner are held by the Board of Trustees (BOT) and subsequently allocated to chapter functions, as determined to be appropriate. In the past these funds have been allocated to events such as Homecoming, Leadership Academy, Convention, the Freshman Scholarship, House Savings, and websites/administrative costs.
